This week students, staff, and faculty at the University of Windsor will get a chance to get informed and involved during Mental Health Awareness Week.
The Week’s highlight is a talk by former Barenaked Ladies lead singer Steven Page tonight at 7pm at the St. Denis Centre and is open free of charge to all University of Windsor students, $2 for St. Clair College and high school students and $5 general admission on a first-come basis.
As well, there are several activities planned all week including several panel discussions (with students and professionals), a music, mood and food event in the CAW Centre, free fitness classes all week, a Health Fair, two plays dealing with mental health issues, suicide prevention training (available to faculty and staff), stress and depression workshops and much more.
