As you are out and about theses last twelve shopping days before Christmas and you pass one of those familiar red kettles of the Salvation Army, consider dropping in your loose change, because every little bit helps!
This year’s kettle campaign for the Windsor and Essex County chapter is way below its goal of $240,000 and they are asking for everyone to help. The need at the local chapter has risen, while donations have fallen.
The red kettles will be out on the streets in 19 different until noon on Christmas Eve. If just every one of our readers drops in a couple of dollars, the Salvation Army will then reach its goal and beyond!
You can also donate online.
