Medians along Wyandotte from Strabane to George have been the first to get made over in a multimillion dollar project to brighten the image of Wyandotte Street East.
City Council approved extensive work — which includes new watermains — for 2012 to overhaul the look of Wyandotte.
One million dollars will also be spent on the Drouillard Road underpass. New railings, lighting and the installation of landscape features will bring this area up to the standards that are displayed at EC Row at Dougall and Howard.
Work will continue in the spring.
