After a rash of breakins and crime, residents of Windsor’s Bridgeview neighbourhood are taking action and have organized a town hall meeting for tomorrow night.
Bridgeview is a neighbourhood in Windsor’s West end, roughly defined as being between College Ave to the North, Campbell to the East, Tecumseh Road to the South and California to the West.
Fabio Constante, operator of Windsor blog “Our West End” has organized the meeting with Councillor Ron Jones to talk about issues including crime, parking and traffic and lighting in Bridgeview’s numerous small parks.
On Our West End, Constante says “There have been some concerns related to these issues from Bridgeview residents and as such, City of Windsor Parks/Traffic, Public Works admin staff and Windsor Police will be in attendance to give presentations and to hear any concerns or ideas you may have.”
The meeting is scheduled to take place at the University’s Human Kinetics Building (College Ave-facing side of the St. Denis Centre), 2555 College Avenue, Room 145 on Thursday October 13th, 7pm.
