The Essex County OPP are currently investigating information received regarding a vehicle that may have been shot at eastbound on the 401 Tuesday afternoon. The OPP are utilizing all available resources and say that public safety is not an issue at this time and are treating this as an isolated incident.
The eastbound lanes of the 401 highway will remain closed for several hours from County Road 46 to County Road 19.
