Former students and residents of the Pillette Village area are mourning the demolition of former Ada C. Richards Public School. Work to prepare the site for demolition began in the spring, and excavators moved in this morning to tear off parts of the back of the school. Ada C. Richards closed a number of years ago and was part of the Windsor Board of Education.
