My wife Kim and I have been members of this community for more than 20 years. We are blessed with three beautiful children. Being raised in political household my father and grandfather instilled in me the values of public service and commitment to community. I am asking for your support so that New Democrats can bring affordable change to Ontario that puts your family first.

New Democrats always put your family at the centre of everything we do. Our leader Andrea Horwath has outlined a vision that will make life more affordable, create and protect jobs and improve the quality of life in Ontario. We all know that it’s getting harder to make ends meet.

New Democrats understand that the unfair HST has made it even harder to keep up. That’s why we will remove this unfair tax from your home heating and hydro bill and we will begin to reduce the provincial portion of the HST on the price of gasoline as well as put to an end price gouging at the pumps. These are good ideas that will help working families in Ontario but let’s face it—this election is about jobs.

We have to get this right—we’ve lost over 300 000 jobs under the McGuinty government’s watch—quite simply the Liberal approach to job creation is not working.
New Democrats have a simple and effective plan that will create jobs in Ontario. We will replace corporate tax giveaways with a plan that rewards companies that create jobs. Our plan will stimulate job growth by offering ANY job creator a 20% tax cut for every new job they create.

We need a job creation strategy that is simple and effective so it can reach everyone in every sector of the economy. Locally we know that the Parkway project is going to bring 1000s of jobs to this region. Those jobs have to be local.
