Catch “Lancers Under The Lights” This Alumni Weekend

It’s Alumni Weekend at the University of Windsor, and the Department of Athletics has been busy preparing to host a number of events to celebrate it.

The fun starts this evening pair of Lancer soccer games.  The Lancer women’s and men’s soccer teams will host the McMaster Marauders at 7:00 pm  and 9:15 pm.

The featured part of the weekend’s celebrations thought  will be when the Windsor Lancers take on the Guelph Gryphons.  Kick off is at 7:00pm on Alumni Field.  The lancers are currently 3 and 1.

The 26 Alumni Sports Hall of Fame Induction ceremony, which is set to take place on Sunday afternoon at the Ambassador Auditorium at the CAW Student center.
Former greats that will be inducted into the hall of fame this year include Jennifer (Graham) Shutz, Andy Buckstein, Jodi Beaugrand, and Dr. Richard Peddie into the builder/coach category.  The 1975 Lancer Football team will also be recognized in the team achievement category, along with Joe Bowen receiving a sport achievement award.
