Big Brothers/Big Sisters is an organization where adult volunteers give of their time to become a mentor to a young person who greatly benefit from having an adult role model to look up to.
Studies have shown that mentoring helps kids stay in school, avoid risky behaviour, and experience first-hand the importance of helping others in their community.
Currently in Windsor there is over 80 children that are looking for a big brother or big sister.
If this sounds like something you would be interested in doing, there will be an information session on August 31st at 5:30 pm. For information and to register for this you can call 51-945-6232.
