Team Windsor Essex represented their City, County and Country with true sportsmanship and amazing athletic ability scoring 13 medals during the ICG Summer Games in Lanarkshire Scotland.

“Congratulations to all our swimmers and track and field athletes who competed so well this past weekend and demonstrated that Windsor Essex hosts remarkable athletes, but more importantly some gifted teenagers who we can all be proud of” said Mayor Eddie Francis.

The swimmers collected 12 medals in total: 3 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 6 bronze medals.  Our track and field athletes secured one bronze medal.

Swimming Results as follows Day One:

Boys:

  • Boys 200 Backstroke – GOLD – Cody Lavoie
  • Boys 50 Freestyle – BRONZE – Andrew Binder
  • Boys 400 Medley Relay – SILVER – Cody Lavoie, Andrej Kukuruzovic, Alex Liu, Andrew Binder

 Girls:

  • Girls 50 Breaststroke – BRONZE – Amber Lefler
  • Girls 100 Freestyle – SILVER – Kylie Masse
  • Girls 50 Butterfly – GOLD – Kylie Masse
  • Girls 400 Freestyle Relay – SILVER – Kylie Masse, Anne-Marie Kaczmarczyk, Amber Lefler, Sadie Fazekas

Day Two:

Boys:

  • Boys 100 Backstroke – BRONZE – Cody Lavoie
  • Boys 400 Freestyle Relay – BRONZE – Cody Lavoie, Andrej Kukuruzovic, Alex Liu, Andrew Binder

Girls:

  • Girls 100 Butterfly – GOLD – Kylie Masse
  • Girls 50 Freestyle – BRONZE – Kylie Masse
  • Girls 400 Medley Relay – BRONZE – Kylie Masse, Anne-Marie Kaczmarczyk, Amber Lefler, Sadie Fazekas
