An urgent fundraising event is scheduled for Saturday July 30th to help victims of drought in East Africa. The current food crisis in the Horn of Africa is a humanitarian emergency and the situation on the ground as reported to us is heart breaking. Please help spread the word. The event will be hosted by the Somali Community Association of Windsor in conjunction with Human Concern International.

Place: STAG – 3735 King Street, Windsor, ON

When: Saturday July 30th

Time: 6 pm (Dinner donated by a local Somali restaurant will be provided)

Cost: $20 (federal govt. will match every dollar donated).
