According to the artistic statement Mama Draw is an experiment combining audio with visual art pieces. At each gathering a medium is chosen to be used. The artists use it to create their work while sharing motherhood related stories, hence the name. The audio aspect comes from the experimental sounding songs of Amr Diab which first captured their attention during a session at Taloola Cafe. The songs and art can be experienced together at Artspeak.
The show runs until June 25th with the closing reception on June 25 at 7 p.m.
