City Organizes Two Community Consultations

Two public meetings are being planned by the City of Windsor, for community input on future uses for neighbourhood recreation facilities.
On Wednesday, April 27 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, the community is invited to a public consultation on future plans for Windsor Water World. The public meeting, organized in partnership with the Glengarry community, will be held in the gym at Windsor Water World, located at 400 Wyandotte St. E.
On Wednesday, May 4 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, the community is invited to a public consultation on future plans for Adie Knox Herman Recreation Complex and College Ave Community Centre. The public meeting will be held at Mackenzie Hall, located at 3277 Sandwich St. It will be held in the Main Gallery.
The community is being invited to comment on their recreational needs in light of possible changes to recreational facilities with the proposed construction of a new aquatic centre. Windsor City Council is reviewing options for building a multi-use complex downtown.
