Ford City refers to the area in and around Drouillard Road. The name refers to the Ford Motor Car Company, which had established itself in Windsor in the early 1900s. The neighborhood that grew around its automotive plant became known as Ford City.

Currently, there are a wide variety of murals to see when walking through the neighborhood. The area has some vacant buildings and empty lots. Organizations such as Ford City Neighbourhood Renewal and the Ford City BIA are working with residents to turn the area around.
