Hello time traveller!!

Starting today and running until March 19th, elementary, secondary, and post-secondary students who ride Transit Windsor are getting a price break again this year thanks to the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee (MYAC).

During March Break week students will pay a buck each way instead of the regular cash fare of $1.70. This applies to all regular city services and excludes tunnel bus and special event (tunnel) services.  All students need to do is show a valid student card, upon request when paying their fare.

As an added bonus, students may ask for a transfer slip when boarding and redeem the slip at participating venues for discounts, draws for gift cards, and free stuff. This added value bonus is available to students with a transfer at XS Family Fun Centre, Devonshire Mall Information, A & W (free standing stores only), Naples Pizza, Tecumseh Mall Information, and New Beginnings.

The objective of this initiative is to increase the number of student riders during March Break and promote the benefits of using public transit.
