Formed in 2008, the Artists of Colour has become a positive voice through art forms by black artists within the Canadian diaspora. This group of artists has accomplished so much in a short time. Their interactive and informative show has become an anticipated annual event for the community at large and they continue to make great strides and move forward with their mandate to share a collective voice.
‘To Awaken to Creativity is a call to adventure. It is a journey that begins with the spark of imagination, and when fuelled with passion, results in works of cultural and historical significance’
