Local Arts Groups Looking For Submissions

The Arts Council Windsor Region is hosting another series of popular neighborhoods art sales this spring, and is looking for local artists and crafters.
Tables are available for rent at $10 per day. Reserve your table on a first come, first served basis at the ACWR office at 1942 Wyandotte Street East. You can also make your reservation online at www.acwr.net. A nominal transaction fee will apply.
The Art Fling in Spring will take place on four Saturdays in the spring: March 26th, April 2nd, 9th and 16th in the Lions Room at Riverside Library.

The Mud Puppy Gallery in Amherstburg is also looking for submissions, for their “Be There or Be Square” show. Pick up a primed 24″ x 24″ panel at the gallery for $15 (which includes submission fee) or bring in your own 24″ x 24″ piece of artword for a $10 submission fee. Deadline for submissions is Feb. 13.
The show runs from Thursday, February 17th to Sunday, March 6th, with a closing reception on Friday, March 4th from 6:00 – 9:00pm.
