A Windsor band is nominated for XM Satellite Radio Canada’s Verge Music Awards and they need your help.

Michou’s debut album titled Cardona has been nominated for Album of the Year along side popular Canadian indie bands like Arcade Fire, Broken Social Scene, Tegan and Sara and Tokyo Police Club.

They are also up for Artist of the Year.  The winners of each category will receive prizes of $25,000 and will perform at the award show hosted in Toronto in March.

Take a second to help out local talent and vote for Michou.  You will receive a free download of their latest song Missing Me Now and the band with the most votes will do a free tour sponsored by XM Radio in the area who votes for them the most.
