On Friday July 30th hundreds of teenagers, and teenagers at heart, packed into the Commerica Park Parking Lot for the annual Vans Warped Tour. The lot was a sea of neon shirts, skinny jeans and mile high mo-hawks. Warped Tour is a summer tour created by Kevin Lyman and put on by the Vans Shoe Company. Bands from several different genres come together to celebrate their passion for music with their fellow musicians and fans. Over the course of July and August the tour travels through about 40 Us and Canadian cities. As many as 100 bands perform each day, creating a new line up for every city.
