Windsor Airport's $7 million dollar 'parallel taxiway' is under construction

Mayor Eddie Francis was joined by Jeff Watson, Sandra Pupatello, Dwight Duncan and Transport / Infrastructure Canada minister John Baird today to ‘re-announce’ eighteen major infrastructure projects in Windsor worth over $137 million (and largely celebrate the mid-point between the ISF program’s announcement and deadline for completion next March).

Francis said in a news release, “Together with our federal and municipal partners, we are making the right investments to revitalize Windsor’s airport, roadways, city pools and community centres, to strengthen our community and protect the health and safety of our citizens.”
