Blackburn Radio Inc. which runs local radio stations such as Mix 96.7 FM and Windsor’s FM 959 has created an audio documentary on the Leamington Tornado overlaid on footage from windsoriteDOTca’s own Aric Aczel.
Blackburn Radio reporter Kevin Black put together the documentary which includes portions of live radio broadcasts from the June 6th incident in Leamington. The documentary (view here on YouTube) is comprised of footage shot by Aric Aczel and the Insurance Bureau of Canada.
The documentary was shown at Colasanti’s last night for a tornado fundraiser put on by the Essex Region Conservation Foundation to replant trees and restore vital ecosystem components destroyed in early June.
Kevin Black says DVDs of the documentary may be for sale at some point in the future with money going entirely to tornado relief funds. We’ll keep you updated!
