The Stanley Cup is coming to Windsor for our very own Canada Day parade.  Parade organizer Maggie Durocher, city councillors Alan Halberstadt and Fulvio Valentinis announced that the Stanley Cup will take part in our Canada Day parade alongside the Memorial Cup.

Councillor Halberstadt suggests that the Stanley Cup and the Memorial Cup in the same place at once may be eligible for a world record.

Chicago Blackhawks coach and former Windsor Spitfire Joel Quennville made this possible along with the Walkerville and Wyandotte Street BIAs.

The parade starts at 11am this Thursday, Canada Day, and runs along Wyandotte Street between Devonshire and Glengarry.
