Riverside Drive Closed, Detours Downtown, Plan Ahead!

Downtown Windsor is preparing to look like this, but there's a few things you should know.

If your morning commute takes you anywhere near Downtown Windsor, prepare for airplanes, roadblocks and music stages.

Riverside Drive is closed between Crawford and Parent, traffic is being routed onto University Avenue.  Pitt Street is also open for through-traffic, but take note that Chatham Street is closing today while music stages continue to be constructed for this weekend’s super festivities.

Driving on Wyandotte?  Delays are likely through the downtown core as traffic scrambles to make its way from Riverside Drive.  Plan accordingly, use caution, and prepare for detours.  Or you could get a head start on next week and Bike to Work!
