With the release of their new album “Breaking Hearts” on June 1, Rah Rah is back on the road and ironically, aren’t breaking any fans’ hearts along the way.
The six piece from Regina SK is known locally for their amazing live shows and love for candy and shawarma. They returned to Phog last night for the fourth time in about two years, and it’s no surprise why. Phog was bursting at the seams as fans danced and sang along to the bands best ever Phog performance.
The band always shares the lead. Changing vocal arrangements and switching things up instrumentally, they proudly display one anothers talents and skills while maintaining the seriousness of their message in song. Politics, art and love, combined with confetti machines and sequins, is what Rah Rah is seemingly all about. A level of seriousness paired with their fun and cute, indie-rocking spirit.
Rah Rah’s first full length album “Going Steady” has received generous support from Canadian college and CBC radio, as well as charting in Exclaim! magazine. “Breaking Hearts” is sure to follow in it’s footsteps as it is receiving many positive reviews.
