The Crosstown Players Theatre Company is holding auditions for their play “Closet” to be performed at Mackenzie Hall this August. More info:
The Crosstown Players, in partnership with Mackenzie Hall and Windsor Pride 2010, is casting three roles for the production of an original comedy by James Mays, “Closet” to be performed August 5, 6 and 7.
Joey Ouellette, Director. James Mays, Producer and Assistant Director. Kathryn Tisdale, Associate Producer and Stage Manager. Jay Banks, Associate Producer/Finance.
Rehearsals and production all to be held at Mackenzie Hall, 3277 Sandwich Street (at Brock) in Windsor, Ontario. Some remuneration will be available; the amount to be based on ticket sales. Play Summary – Closet: Shaun and Jay spend the afternoon going through their deceased friend’s closet.
They find surprising secrets but not nearly as many as this couple has been hiding from each other in their eight years of marriage. Roles being cast: Shaun – Male, married to Jay. The actor should be able to carry a tune for a few lines of a hymn. This role involves some romantic scenes with the other lead actor. Jay – Male, married to Shaun. Actor should be able to do a Newfoundland accent.

Open auditions to be held: Friday, July 2 at 7:00 pm at Mackenzie Hall, 3277 Sandwich Street (at Brock) in Windsor It is not necessary to have anything prepared.
