Collision on McDougall Traps Driver

A two vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of McDougall and Hanna around 1pm Tuesday afternoon. An elderly female, approximately 80 years of age, was driving a Ford Escort when her vehicle was t-boned by a semi tractor trailer.
The impact rendered the woman unconscious and trapped inside her vehicle. Windsor Fire & Rescue had to use the Jaws of Life to extricate her. In the process, she regained consciousness. She was transported to hospital with unknown injuries.
There were no 3rd party witnesses, according to the police on scene. The intersection is a two-way stop, with north-south traffic on McDougall having the right of way. Police shutdown every intersection in the area as they conducted their investigation.
