Have you ever wondered why there are poppies on the street signs in South Walkerville?

Museum Windsor will be leading a discussion and walking tour of Optimist Memorial Park and surrounding area in South Walkerville to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge.

It takes place on Sunday, April 9th from 2pm to 4pm departing from the parking lot of Optimist Community Centre on Ypres Boulevard.

Cost is $5 per person. Space is limited and advanced registration is required. To register, you can call Museum Windsor at 519-253-1812 or visit the Chimczuk Museum to register in person.
