The Town of LaSalle wants everyone to explore what shops and business they have to offer, and have added a new section on their website to make it easier.

Explore LaSalle will allow users to search through a database of businesses that are located in LaSalle. The businesses are broken into categories of dining, shopping and services. The section also includes manufacturing businesses. Users can search by business name, type of business and keywords.

“Explore LaSalle showcases the number of great businesses that are located right here in LaSalle,” said Mayor Ken Antaya. “It gives our community, our businesses and our visitors one location to find all of the great things that LaSalle has to offer.”

All 300 businesses were canvassed in the spring, and each was asked to complete a contact form. The information submitted was used to build the database. Business owners can access the information on the website, make updates, add new businesses, upload a logo and photos. The Town of LaSalle’s Development and Strategic Initiatives Department and the Corporate Communication and Promotions Officer will oversee Explore LaSalle.

Explore LaSalle can be found at www.explorelasalle.ca or through the Town of LaSalle’s website at www.town.lasalle.on.ca.
