Two Windsor teens won big at the International Science Fair held this past week in Los Angeles.

Alexander Deans, 17, from Academie St. Cecile, won both a special award and a grand award for his project, in which he created a novel device to help the visually impaired navigate.

The Special Award means that he will receive a full tuition scholarship to West Virginia University

Meagan Fabel, 18, from Walkerville Collegiate Insitute, won both a special award and a grand award as well for her project, in which she used algae to increase the efficiency of Gratzel solar cells.
