Windsor firefighters have extinguished a large fire at a house in the 1700 block of Dominion.

Fire crews were called just after 7pm and found smoke pouring out of the house’s roof.

Crews began to fight the fire just as heavy snow started to fall.

Flames were visible inside the house’s garage. Firefighters worked on the inside of the garage to extinguish the fire while additional fire crews were called to the scene.

Three people made it safely out of the house and were sheltered by neighbours.

There were no injuries.

Investigators say the cause could not be determined.

The fire caused $275,000 in damages.
