A new grocery store is coming to Wyandotte Street East.

Construction has begun to convert a former bingo hall located at 3975 Wyandotte Street (at the corner of George) into a new No Frills store.

No Frills is owned by Loblaw Companies Limited and bills itself as having lower food prices.  This will be the first No Frills location for Windsor.  There are currently locations in Essex, Amherstburg and Tilbury.

Along with No Frills, there will also be other retail space available to lease.

This new development brings the site full circle.  Many years ago before it was a bingo hall, the building was a grocery store.

It’s about time. Loblaws other banners like Zehrs and Superstore are pricey. I find Metro and Sobeys cheaper than Zehrs but for those who are on a budget this will help

Convert existing Loblaws owned stores into a no frills location. Zehrs on Tecumseh Road East would be an ideal location
