The Arts Council Windsor & Region are hosting information sessions on the Ontario Arts Council’s Artists in the Community/Workplace (AICW) program.
Presented by Cultural Animator, Alana Bartol, artists from all disciplines will be able to get more information on the program that supports the research, development, production and presentation of community-engaged, collaborative, process-driven artistic work.
Artists will be able to apply for up to $10,000 in funding to develop community arts projects in the Windsor and Essex County area. An application to the program requires a partnership between professional artist(s) or art organization and a non-arts group.
Artists, arts groups or collectives (Professional, Amateur and Emerging), non-for-profit arts organizations, not-for-profit community organizations, health care facilities, ad hoc community groups and trade unions can all apply for this funding.
The session takes place Wednesday at the Artspeak Gallery located at 1942 Wyandotte Street east in Walkerville starting at 6:30pm.
