Hello time traveller!!

The information listed below is likely outdated and has been preserved for archival purposes.

City Cyclery is still in Walkerville, but they have moved to a larger location just down the block (553 Lincoln Road).

While the cycle shop continues to cater towards urban cyclers, their bigger location (5,000 square feet) allows them to add more variety to their line-up. Recent additions include Canadian made Devinci and Simcoe bicycles. They also now have cargo bikes with the hopes that local businesses will adopt this eco-friendly option for their deliveries around the city.

Locally made goods are a big part of City Cyclery and they carry many items made by Windsorites (baskets and bags for your bike), items from just over the river in Detroit (Detroit Bikes), as well as merchandise from many Southern Ontario and Canadian businesses (including handmade bike bags by Toronto company YNOT Cycle).

The shop is a mix of old and new, with an entire basement now dedicated to the restoration of vintage bicycles. The new location also boasts a bar, a main floor maintenance area, tons of bike/inventory storage, and a beautiful show room.

This spring City Cyclery will be introducing bike rentals. It’s perfect for Windsorites who would like to partake in a casual cycle around the city on a beautiful summer day, but don’t have the dollars to own a bike of their own all year round. Bike rentals will also be available by the week or the month.

The new City Cyclery is located at 553 Lincoln and can be contacted by calling 226-674-0648. They are open Tuesday – Friday from 10am – 6pm and Saturdays from 10am – 5pm. You can also check out their web page or Facebook page for more information and updates.
