One Confirmed COVID-19 Case At St. Peter; One Class, One Bus Cohort Dismissed

The Catholic School Board has dismissed one class of students, as well as a bus cohort, from St Peter Catholic Elementary School in Tecumseh after receiving notification of one confirmed case of COVID-19 there.

The affected students have been told that they are not to attend school Monday. The health unit will notify those students when they are able to return to school.

The health unit is contacting any individuals, both students and staff, who may have been affected, and will give directions for them to follow.

A voice message to the entire school community was sent home this evening to inform them about the situation, and to notify the parents of those students who were dismissed that they should not send their children back to school until they have received further direction from the health unit.
