Windsor Police say there is no threat to public safety after gunshots were heard in the town Friday evening.

Police say it was around 6:40pm that officers were called to a report of multiple shots fired in the area of the 3200 block of Meloche Road.

Officers located the source of the gunfire and determined there is no threat to public safety.

No other information has been released.
