A downtown staple for fresh, homestyle breakfasts and lunches is closing.
Pete’s Place owners Pete and Marianne Panagiotopoulos have decided after 33 years it is time to retire.
They got their start in 1986 as Frank’s Coffee Shop on McDougall Avenue across from Windsor Arena before moving to their current location on Wyandotte Street East as Pete’s Place.
They will close their doors for good on December 31st.
