The Town of Essex has launched a new survey to get feedback for the 2019 budget.
The survey will give citizens the chance to weigh in on the budget priorities they feel are most important to them. The survey asks citizens to weigh in on 12 key areas of spending, as well as identify their knowledge of the budget and how they receive information from the Town.
“Results of the survey will be an important source of information on how we build our budget this year, and in the future,” said Jeffrey Morrison, Director of Corporate Services. “We welcome any questions, comments, or concerns from citizens and this new tool provides a quick and easy way to provide feedback.”
The responses from the survey will provide Council and administration key information about community priorities as they work towards finalizing next year’s budget and four-year financial forecast.
The survey, which can be filled out online at essex.ca/BudgetSurvey, will accept responses until Monday, November 19th.
