32 Tickets Handed Out During Enforcement Blitz In Walkerville

Parking Enforcement Officers issued 32 tickets during a 45-minute enforcement blitz in the area surrounding Walkerville High School and St. Anne Elementary School Wednesday morning.
The blitz was carried out in an effort to crackdown on the illegal stopping and parking that has been reducing site lines for drivers and making walking unsafe for pedestrians.
Officers will be back in the area this afternoon at 2:00 pm.
City Supervisor of Compliance and Enforcement Bill Kralovensky says more enforcement blitzes are likely at other locations across the city in the future.
This is the third week enforcement officers have carried out a blitz around city schools.
