The Town of Kingsville is holding three public open houses to give residents and business owners an opportunity to review the draft strategic plan and offer feedback before finalization of the Master Plan.
“Ensuring we have involvement from the community is a pivotal part of this process,” Kingsville mayor Nelson Santos explained. “This Strategic Plan will serve as the framework for future programs and services in the municipality, and resident input is very valuable.”
Participants will gain insight into the Town’s direction, which projects and community values are priorities, and desired goals.
The Open Houses are:
Tuesday September 27th at Cottam United Church from 5pm to 7pm
Wednesday September 28th at Olinda-Ruthven United Church from 5pm to 7pm
Saturday October 1st at the Kingsville Arena from 10am to 12pm
“Not only does the Strategic Plan provide us with direction for developmental plans and budgets, but it also provides a sense of accountability,” said Peggy Van Mierlo-West, the Town’s Chief Administrative Officer. “It’s a starting point to look back on and see how successful we’ve been in achieving our goals.”
