There are over 50 craft beers available within a half of a kilometre in Downtown Windsor, and on Friday five locally owned craft-beer-loving venues are banding together to take you on an exclusive trip of the “suds scene”.
Downtown Flight Club is the joining of Craftheads, Phog Lounge, Snack BAR-B-Q, Villains Beastro and The Windsor Beer Exchange in a love of beer.
On Friday only 150 Flight Club Members will be able to tap-dance between the venues, enjoying 45-minute stops at each spot, tasting over 50 beer offerings from more than a dozen breweries. The bars are open to other patrons as usual, but the Flight Club experience is limited to 150 people.
Passports are $40 ticket/passport purchase gets you four (5oz) flights of your choosing per venue. By volume, you get a 20oz pint of beer per stop.
Here’s how it works:
- Each participating venue has 30 tickets. You depart from the place you purchase your ticket. That’s your starting point. First come, first served. Your flight leaves at 6pm on Friday, May 22nd.
- Your Flight Club passport (ticket) is where you write down your selection of 4 beers per bar. A master list outlining each venue’s unique offerings will be available at all venues. Your passport is your proof of purchase. So, don’t lose it along your hops-tour. It is non-replaceable or non-transferable.
- At every ‘lay-over’ on your short domestic trip submit your passport to receive your beer flight.
Tickets are $40 per person and are on sale now at all five participating venues.
