Police Watch For Planned Demonstration Near The Bridge

Windsor Police were on alert Monday for a planned demonstration that was planned for the noon hour by the bridge.
Police said they planned to maintain a visible presence, and both Windsor Police and University of Windsor Campus Police could be seen parked at several intersections along Huron Church and Wyandotte near the bridge.
The University of Windsor closed access to parking lots on College Avenue near Alumni Stadium, Toldo Lancer Centre, and the Faculty of Human Kinetics.
Around 12:30pm, a small group could be seen gathered in a parking lot at Tecumseh and Huron Church, but traffic was flowing normally.
