The University of Windsor’s Mandatory Mask Policy is being extended for the entire month of May. It was initially set to end on May 1st.
The policy will be re-evaluated before May 31st, 2022, and officials say the next steps will be broadly communicated.
The university says the decision was based on the recommendation of the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit and in concert with the post-secondary sector.
The COVID-19 Vaccination Policy will be suspended as of May 1st, as does the requirement for daily screening through the Safe Lancer App.
