The City of Windsor is continuing to clean up following Wednesday’s snowfall. Crews continue to ensure that main routes and arterial roads remain clear, with additional clearing on collector roads today.
Snow clearing crews will move into residential areas on Friday morning.
The city says they estimate the snow removal will take approximately 16 to 24 hours to reach the entire city. Where possible, they ask you to remove vehicles from the street to make it easier for plows to clear the road.
Residents are reminded that sidewalks abutting their property are their responsibility to clear. All sidewalks are to be cleared 12 hours after the snowfall ends for residential property owners and 4 hours for commercial property owners.
