Environment Canada has issued a winter storm watch for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent.

They say snow, heavy at times, is expected to start Wednesday morning. Environment Canada expects 20 to 30cm of snow by Friday morning. The storm will also bring wind gusts of 50 to 70km/h.

They say rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations.
