The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit, in partnership with Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare, will be opening a mass vaccination clinic at the Dr. Y Emara Centre for Healthy Aging and Mobility located near the back of the campus in West Windsor beginning on Wednesday, January 5th, 2022.

The clinic, will have appointments available from 2:30pm to 6:30pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday; and from 12:00pm to 4pm on Tuesday and Friday. This mass vaccination site will be providing first, second and third doses through appointment only, with no walk-ins being permitted at this time.

Booking of appointments will start on Wednesday, December 29th at 8am.  For booking information and additional information on eligibility, visit www.WEVax.ca or call 226-773-2200.

“As has been HDGH’s approach since the onset of the pandemic, we are happy and eager to help our partners with our local pandemic response, furthering our vision to create a healthier community. The added vaccine clinic on our west-end campus will help do just that,” said Janice Kaffer, HDGH President & CEO. “It is especially important right now that our community make it a priority to receive their first, second or third (booster) dose of COVID-19 as we continue to manage this 5th wave.”

Ward 2 Councillor for the City of Windsor, Fabio Costante said, “I am pleased and grateful that Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare was chosen as a mass vaccination clinic for residents in our community and in particular residents in the west-end. This site will provide access to many west-end residents during this critical time in our fight against COVID-19.”
