Downtown Windsor Launches Shop2Win Campaign

The Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association is looking to spread a little love.

“We considered how we could give, while at the same time promoting and supporting our downtown businesses, who have lived in and loved this community, and continue to do so even during the most unprecedented times,” said DWBIA chair Brian Yeomans.

Following the recent Shop2Win holiday contest, the DWBIA is launching a second round, this time focused on Valentine’s Day. Shoppers are invited to shop and dine downtown for the next two weeks, taking photos of receipts of items purchased at retailers, restaurants, and businesses within the DWBIA boundaries between the dates of February 1st and February 14th, 2021.

They can upload these receipts to www.shopdowntownwindsor2win.ca for the chance to win one of 4 weekly prizes of $100 in gift cards to downtown businesses. The contest runs for two weeks, for a total of 8 prizes.

“There’s a lot to fall in love with downtown,” adds Yeomans. “It’s the products, it’s the places, it’s the people. The contest is a fun way to explore all of what we have.”
