Lakeshore Closes Municipal Office To Visitors

Lakeshore’s Town Hall will be closed to the public as of December 14th, 2020. Municipal staff are available to assist residents by telephone and email. Individuals wishing to attend the office for services that cannot be accessed by telephone or www.lakeshore.ca.
Municipal staff will still be available to commission documents, obtain marriage licences or conduct other business by appointment by calling 519-728-2700.
“We need to take this precaution due to the surge in COVID-19 numbers to protect our staff and help stop the spread in our community,” said Lakeshore Mayor Tom Bain.
Visitors with appointments will be required to wear a face covering at all times and complete a COVID-19 assessment.
Members of the public who need to make a payment at Town Hall are encouraged to use electronic options (bank, online), mail in their payment or use the two drop boxes located at the building entrances. Please do not place cash in the drop boxes.
