Five University Of Windsor Students Killed In Iran Plane Crash

The University of Windsor has confirmed that at least five individuals who appear on Ukrainian International Airlines’ Flight PS752 passenger list are members of the University of Windsor student and research community.
“The entire University of Windsor is heartbroken by this news and we extend our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of everyone impacted by this terrible tragedy,” said President Robert Gordon
In total, 176 passengers aboard Ukrainian Airlines Flight PS752, headed towards Kyiv, Ukraine, were killed when it crashed near Tehran, Iran .
“We are deeply saddened from this tragedy and stand in solidarity with the families and loved ones of those onboard,” said UWSA President Jeremiah Bowers.
The University will provide additional information as it becomes available, and further details on a memorial service will be shared with the campus community in the days to come.
