The popular summer Explore the Shore event returns with a Christmas Market this weekend.

Taking place on Saturday from 10am to 4pm ans Sunday from  11am to 4pm, the market  will give shoppers the perfect opportunity to buy goods from a wide range of artisans and local vendors.

“We had a great turnout at this year’s Explore the Shore, and we know our visitors are always looking for new opportunities to buy local while taking in the incredible sights and sounds of County Road 50,” said Carol Quick, event organizer and owner of Quick’s Wicks in Colchester.

This year’s Christmas Market builds has expanded to two locationsthe Colchester Community Centre (100 Jackson Street) and Christ Church Colchester (190 Bagot Street).

The event will also feature a decorated path between the two venues, as well as horse and carriage rides on Saturday from 12:30pm to 2:30pm (weather permitting). The Christmas Market also coincides with EPIC Wineries’ Taste of the Season event.

“This is a great chance to finish some early Christmas shopping while enjoying the incredible businesses and wineries that call County Road 50 home,” Quick added.
