Pup-sonality:
Tiny Trixie, affectionately known as TT, is a tiny little sweetheart who just wants to be your little buddy. She is crate-trained and is continuing to work on her house-training. She will need a patient family willing to accommodate her needs and be careful about her socialization outside of her home as she can be fearful of larger animals. She is very grateful for her rescued life and is happiest when you tell her what a good girl she is and loves to give her humans lots of kisses. TT has had double knee surgery and, as a result, should not be taking too many stairs or be jumping on/off furniture. She is calm and cool and really enjoys belly rubs, but she does have her playful moments. Contrary to typical Chihuahua behaviour, TT does not bark a lot and enjoys meeting other humans on her walks. If your family is looking for a cute little girl to chill out with, TT is waiting for you!

All dogs available for adoption with Second Chance Animal Rescue Windsor-Essex come fully vaccinated, including lepto, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested (and are on heartworm/flea preventative while in our care). At adoption, adopters receive a 6-week free trial of pet insurance.
